Free Minimalist Home Page Design

I got inspiration yesterday looking at some minimalist photography and decided to come up with a minimalist home page design. I wanted the page to look stunning, but be very feature- and functionality-light. A full page background image was required, as well as an expandable menu. The menu I wanted to be large and the at the forefront of the end users attention, but be very basic in design.

So, here is what I came up with. I really like this design, and over the last 24 hours it may have given me inspiration to reskin this site in a similar fashion.

It’s very basic, and the menu is hard-coded, so if you want to use this template you’ll need to make some changes to the HTML. I used a little bit of jQuery to get the menu to display the way I wanted to

This page design is free for unrestricted use by anyone who would like. I only ask that you consider leaving the credit and link to my site in the footer of the page.

So there you have it, what do you think? Would you like to see more of these free download type posts?
